We all remember, Abhishek Manu Singhvi quoting the above, when unsubstantiated allegations were made about BJP MLAs in Gujarat Assembly. Mind you he didn’t wait for validation of the video, even wait for forensics to certify it but just blasted out. Now, today a video of him in compromising positions as well as a “casting couch” for aspiring judges has made it out. He is literally caught with his pants down !!! When the video was broadcast to the world in the social media he had no option but to resign…

What is most disappointing is the fact -- that the mainstream media hasn’t covered itself in glory at large and blatant partiality of the English TV channels that have been thoroughly exposed by this episode. The media houses that shouted that a Swami Nithyananda, or BJP MLAs should be hung -- tried to hide behind the cover of “injunction from the court” and tried their best to blackout this news. The court injunction was for the broadcast of this video and NOT for reporting on it -- as news. How come this wasn’t glaringly obvious to them is a point I want them explaining to the nation. What was so special about AMSinghvi that they had to show this extraordinary restraint ?

Time and again, the mainstream media is getting caught with its pants down by such blatantly obvious prejudicial/partial stances favorable towards their benefactors. If anything, the social media has corrected this imbalance and restored integrity (albeit on balance) to the fourth estate…

For Once SRK spoke the truth...

In case you all didn't know the whole nation of India was humiliated beyond anything we have experienced before... If you observe the news media particularly TIMES NOW, by detaining SRK this demeaning of our nation was done by USA. In fact, when they detained APJ Abdul Kalam nothing happened to India. But when this arrogant, self-proclaimed king of Indian Cinema (a far stretch of imagination, considering that he can't act) was caught on a wrong VISA and was promptly detained all hell broke loose... Our foreign minister, the moron didn't learn from our lesson from that mis-adventure with Norway, again chose to intervene in this and shot himself and the nation in the foot. If at all something demeaned India it was the reaction of media and our government and not what Shah Rukh Khan got.

At least, SRK was candid enough to admit “Whenever I feel arrogant about myself, I take a trip to USA”. I was frankly, surprised at his confession, in this statement. Yes, these VIP bastards are used to kid glove treatment, bending rules and even getting away with murder – all in India. They actually learn what it means to obey the law only when they travel abroad.

Yes, Shah Rukh make more trips to the USA to experience what it is like to obey the law....

Maamigalum Viradhangalum – மாமிகளும் விரதங்களும்

Have you noticed the viradham pattern observed by Maamis in your household ? Do you notice a pattern on why they do it, why they pick certain occasions to do them etc. I observed their pattern and think I am close to solving that mystery but need help from you all to crack it totally…

I have been patiently observing Maamis over several years and have finally solved the reason for this viradham by Maamis. It is shockingly simple – they simply love Dosai, Idly & Ulundhu Vadai!!! That is it folks, this is the simple truth…

Because, Viradham never equals Fasting… It is just palaharam. That too maamis uncannily pick that day for viradham -- wherein they know that after working your butt off preparing a sumptuous menu you are looking for a break come dinner time. It is their ploy to deny you that well deserved break, it is also plain and simple. E.g most poojas I have seen my wife go berserk with menu  and after all is done dusted will hear “எனக்கு இன்னிக்கு ராத்திரி பலகாரம் – வெறும் தோசையும் வடையும் மட்டும் போரும்!!!” (I am fasting today, so just will make do with Dosa and Vadaa!!).

I am always curious to understand what exactly is the sacrifice in this whole Palahaaram episode ? Other than a primal urge to eat fresh tiffin you like, I really don’t what is “sacrificial” in this whole thing ? Sure, even I wouldn’t mind such viradham and palahaaram every day...

Some Maamis will say “எனக்கு பழையது எல்லாம் கூடாது“ (Don’t serve me old stuff) – Again what is sacrificial in this is something that escapes my reasoning. Trust me, I spent years to understand some element of sacrifice in this. The top comedy is in this, fellow maamis will immediately sympathize with this and give brownie points to each other. “நான் அவர் போனப்புறம் பழயதையே விட்டுட்டேன்” (After his passing away, I have given up eating old stuff) as some sort of sacrifice. Is it just me who is upset at this, to me if you want to sacrifice then say -- “I will not eat fresh food, I will only eat food that is at least two days old” – that certainly seems to be the right way to go about it…

So in summary, my conclusion is .. as long as there is nuisance potential (heartburn for daughter-in-law) or a sympathy factor with fellow maamis – anything goes as Viradham (especially with fresh dosa/vada around).

They certainly provide a comic relief in my life… I am not so sure about my wife…. :-)

Legislating your responsibilities away...

I really, wish that everyone who has a responsibility or debt could just brush them away like our government. Consider this... We all in a street pick a person and pay that person to take care of festival arrangements and provide food for all etc. That person fritters away the money and come festival time, declares ...

“Sorry, I don't have any money. Nor have I prepared anything. So Each household should prepare 25% food extra and in addition to feeding yourselves, you must contribute that food to me so that I can fulfill my “catering” responsibilities”. On top of this, I also say “Muslim/Christian families don't have to do this, but can come in have a free lunch...”

Does the above look wrong to you ? Well, it should.. Now, consider this our government which collected taxes from all of us and took on the charter of providing quality education to all over a period of time kept on shirking its responsibilities, people made their own arrangements through self-funded means and built quality private schooling establishments. Suddenly, the government and a whole bunch of NGOs woke up and came up with “Right to Education”. I imagined that logically, these morons would compel the government to provide quality education to all and poor on a priority basis at the least !!! Strangely enough they are now forcing the private parties to take on that responsibility, and yes you guessed it exempted the Christians and Muslims from pitching in. I.e. they can benefit from the reservation system, but the convents and madrasas can continue their merry ways, without contributing an iota to this social responsibility. Yet our media hails this as a “landmark judgment”.

Well you can't expect anything from the idiots who go for intellectuals in the Media, but Supreme Court... I hope, that sanity prevails and and the constitution bench puts the responsibility squarely on the Government....

Very disappointed, it is time we scrutinized the process that selects judges to the supreme court as well in depth.....

When your worst fears come True…

I wonder how many of you noticed the confession from the NGO factory queen “Teesta” on TV today… The SIT delivered its closure report to the court concluding that there is no evidence to prosecute Modi, hell not one of the 63 folks against whom this bitch manufactured evidence (including the same Xeroxed affidavits given to people and coaching classes on how to be a credible witness to corroborate things) were deemed worthy of further pursuit. It is not just some biased hindutva person who is against her, but the cases which have been accepted by judges as there is primafacie evidence against her…. Stand as proof.

She with fellow sickulars operated in classic “circular reference” model. Where in each one will refer to few friends as “sources” and in the end the reference chain will come a full circle as well. Lot of words like “mass murderer”, lakhs still displaced, will be repeated ad nauseum. Half truths will be thrown about in plenty – e.g. a classic quote is even Atal Bihari said “Raj Dharma should be followed” without saying that in the same sentence AB said “Narendra Modiji is following diligent Raj Dharma in this case”. For their own vested reasons, the ndtv brigade made this bitch into a person of influence, rest is history….

Now I for one fully agree with Teesta when she said that “Our worst fears came true today”. But disagree with her on what the fear is -- it is not the fear of Modi being acquitted, as she should have bloody well known that her fake evidence pyramid will come crashing down on her. The fear is really about the court cases she will have to face ranging from at the minimum contempt of court to perjury…
